Moments with Midnight -- Cocoa Vanilla......

Today I finished my second Cocoa Vanilla design and I had no other choice than to published on Christmas Day....The Midnight collection is jus amazing to see but also to work with, I'm in love with the colors of this collection the match perfectly!!

The collection match perfectly with colored photos but also with black and white photographs, you can see my youngest daughter Chimène, she made this photo herself on here way to school!!

Every embellisment, die-cut, chipboard piece etc etc is perfect and so well to combine, it is also a great collection to match it with white cardstock....

I'm incredibly enthusiastic about the Midnight collection that I ordered extra design paper last week so that I can make more designs that fit well with my photos.

I hope I have made you just as enthusiastic after publishing my inspiration layout on Christmas Day as I'm....thanks for stopping by and enjoy your Christmas Holiday!!

Little Explorer with Scrapplezier......

Pack your bags, it?s time for an adventure! Arrows, mountains and woodland creatures of all shapes and sizes fill the pages of our Hide & Seek collection! Capture your little one?s wild side as they step out into nature and embark on their next big adventure!

Today on my blog but also on the blog from Scrapplezier.nl my latest design with the Hide & Seek collection from Kaisercraft.

For my base I used 3 layers, 2 layers designpaper and 1 layer of cardstock! I made a border from collectables an the left side it is straight and on the right side the border is slightly slanted. The photo is from my granddaughter Jealee Diana, the photo is matted and raised with chipboard, the photo is also provided with collectables.

In the left corner of the design I attached a pendulum just like in the border. This pendulum symbolizes her lifeline, which now only consists of beautiful sweet and nice things!!

The layout I have at last provided with text strips, I hope that I have again been able to inspire you to use the Kaisercraft products. The Kaisercraft products work really well and can be combined so well.

Thanks for stopping by, take care and I will see you soon!!

Magical Moments with Let's get Sketchy......

Hi all, its reveal day!  But before I get to that, I want to take a moment to update you on a couple of changes here at LGS.  Effective November 1st. we will go to one sketch a month until further notice. Brenshevia has a very Hectic life, she lost here sponsor coordinator to mix this all up changes had to be made. So for the time being we will no longer be able to offer monthly prizes, however, we will select one designer each month to spotlight the following month in a guest designer spot. Now that I have announced the changes I do hope you will continue to play along with our wonderful sketches and because of you love for the craft.

Now that we have the housekeeping out of the way, lets get on to this week's sketch and beautiful inspiration!

For my design I used the amazing StarGazer collection from Kaisercraft, you can see on the sketch it has 3 photo's, I changed it in 1 photo that I cut upp in tree pieces.  I also turned the sketch!!

I love working with this collection and the colors are amazing. An collection for boy's and girl's!!

So if you can see they have amazing collectables in this collection, with lovely quotes.

On the last two detail photo's you can see that I used different heights, to create those heights I used chipboard!!

I hope you like my design-layout but most of all I hope I gave you enough inspiration to join us at Let's get Sketchy. As I said in the beginning of this post, there are changes, again I report this to you.

We will be working on just one sketch a month for now and the winner from each months challenge will be our Guest Designer to be spotlighted in next months challenge.

Family with the 15th challenge @ Let's get Sketchy.......

Today on my blog the second reveal for october 2018 at the Let's get Sketchy blog, again a reveal with a great sketch made by Brenshevia!! For my design I used the gorgeous paper collection Stargazer from Kaisercraft. I love this collection, a lot a bleu colors, great collectables and design sheets!

The placed my photo in the centre of my design, the photo is in between borders, if you see the sketch you will notice that I made them higher and distress them. Instead of placing strips of design paper vertically in my design I placed them horizontal.

For my title I used a chipboard piece, I edited this piece with clear gesso and heavy gesso. I don't know what went wrong but it looks like it has been crackled!!

Family is the title of my page, the chipboard piece I used is allmost 30 cm long.....am very fond of these chipboard pieces!! They are from Creative Embellisments....

In de borders I placed some collectables to create some gorgeous flowers!!!

To ge all of this I used this amazing sketch from Brenshevia...

I hope you like my design-layout but most of all I hope I gave you enough inspiration to join us at Let's get Sketchy and work with this amazing sketch! So if you like sketches and you want to be challenged make sure you pop on over to our blog. You can win amazing prizes!!

Good Vibes with the 1st challenge @ Let's get Sketchy......

Today on my blog the 1st reveal for october 2018 at the Let's get Sketchy blog, again a reveal with a great sketch made by Brenshevia!! For my design I used the gorgeous paper collection Good Vibers from Crate Paper. I love this collection, great chipboard elements, stickers and ephemera's.

For my base I used a designsheet from the papercollection, I made two triangles out of white cardstock, the back lined with design paper from the good vibes collection. I have placed them in de centre of my background, arround that I placed two photo's of my youngest daughter "Chimène"!!

Both of the photo's I matted with a piece of a design sheet from the Crate Paper Collection - Good Vibes.  The top photo is double-gauge and provided with two text strips. The bottom picture I have provided with an ephemera and 1 good vibes sticker.

The top and the left side and a piece at the right side I provided with washi tape......

To get all of this I used this sketch from Brenshevia

So very Sweet with the 15th challenge @ LGS.....

Today on my blog the second reveal for september 2018 at the Let's get Sketchy blog, again a reveal with a great sketch made by Brenshevia!! For my design I used the gorgeous paper collection "Hike & Seek" from Kaisercraft in combination with 49 & Market!!!

For my base I used 2 sheets of designpaper from the Hike & Seek collection, the design sheet which is the definitive basis I have strengthened with chipboard, the second design sheet I sanded 14 to 15 cm in the left corner to the middle, I also strengthened this one with chipboard. Two parts have now been created in the left corner,
I applied the rope technique to these parts, with this technique a kind of wave is created. The photo I used is one of my granddaughter Jealee Diana, the photo is matted with a piece of design sheet and also provided with two collectables from the same collection. Under the created wave I placed a lot of flowers from the 49 & Market collection - colors are natural blush and sage cluster.

I had a hard time to made it my own and I hope you enjoy what you see and what you can make with a sketch. My advice do never copy a sketch with you entry in a challenge, try to lift some elements and make it your one!!

To get all of this I used this sketch from Brenshevia
